All outside organizations must complete the online Flyer Request Form and submit a copy of the flyer by e-mail to email@example.com by fax to (940) 497-3737 or by bringing a copy to the Central Services Building at 104 Swisher Road, Lake Dallas, TX 75065.
All flyers distributed by LDISD must include the following disclaimer printed at the bottom: “This organization and its activities are not related to or sponsored by Lake Dallas ISD”
No material will be approved for public or student access during the first full week of school, the week prior to winter holidays, the first week of the spring semester, the week of TAKS testing, or the last two weeks of school.
Duplication of flyers is the responsibility of the organization requesting permission to distribute.
Once approved, the organization must bring the copied flyers to the LDISD Central Services Building located at 104 Swisher Road for distribution. Please do not take approved flyers to any LDISD campus or building.
Secondary Campus Principals will place all approved flyers in a central location for students and patrons who are interested.
Elementary Campus Principals will send some approved flyers home with students. Other flyers may be approved for display on the school bulletin board and placed in the office for those interested.
The flyers must be bundled in groups of 25 by the requestor.
Participating organizations are required to show proof of non-profit status.
No fundraising flyers are allowed from groups outside the school.
Flyers must clearly indicate that the activity is for students.
Advertisements with little or no educational value will not be approved.
Flyers should not contain advertising logos or promotions for any business or organization other than the approved organization submitting the flyer.
Lake Dallas ISD reserves the right of final approval for the release of any flyer and may deny permission for any reason consistent with federal or state law, district policy, procedures and practices.
