Lake Dallas Independent School District has each district building connected with a single mode fiber backbone for network connectivity. The fiber connectivity gives the district the bandwidth needed to provide Internet and network connections to every classroom and office in the district. In addition to the fiber connectivity, the district has a wireless technology connecting the Administrative Annex and portable classroom buildings to the district network.
The district has put this infrastructure in place to enable teachers and administrators the ability to use every resource available to enhance the curriculum and learning experience for our students.
