Connected Tech – is the LDISD online adopted K-8 Technology Applications curriculum textbook which has tutorials for required* skills and technology-integrated lessons for each grade level. Here is the link to Connected Tech - https://tech.classroom.com
Look in the Technology Info folder on the FirstClass desktop for the Connected Tech activation code. Activate your teacher subscription using the activation code and select lessons for your students.

* NCLB (No Child Left Behind) states that all districts must fully integrate technology into the curricula and instruction in all schools by December 31, 2006 to enhance teaching and learning.
* ... and according to Senate Bill (SB) 815 Technology Applications is now a “required” curriculum and all school districts, as a condition of accreditation, must provide instruction in the Technology Applications TEKS. TEA curriculum requirements state that Technology Applications curriculum must be offered by all Texas state schools and that:
“A school district must provide instruction in the essential knowledge and skills of the appropriate grade levels in the foundation and enrichment curriculum as specified in paragraphs (1)-(19) of this subsection. A school district may add elements at its discretion but must not delete or omit instruction in the foundation and enrichment curriculum specified in subsection (a) of this section.”
