All equipment/hardware purchases must be approved by the Technology Department BEFORE the purchase is made.
Below is a list of approved equipment:
- PC's are Tangent
- laptops are Compaq
- printers are HP (and new purchases must be laserjet, not deskjet)
- Peripherals such as scanners, cameras, etc. must be Windows NT/2000/XP compatible.
- USB devices should not be purchased unless the user has Windows 98/2000/XP, or is prepared to pay the price for upgrade. (NT4 does not support USB.)
We do not support personal equipment (PC's, monitors, printers) from home.
Donated equipment must meet the standards mentioned above.
