2007-2008 School Year Parent Information/Información de Padres I want to welcome you and your child to the new school year. I am very happy to work with you and want to make myself available in any way I can. Please feel free to ask me any specific questions. Here is some general information that can help you and your child have a great year! Quiero darles la bienvenida a usted y su niño a este año escolar. Aquí esta alguna información general para ayudar a usted y a su niño tener un buen año escolar!         School hours are from 8:00am-2:40pm. Children who arrive early will be supervised in the cafeteria. If you pick up your child after school, please wait for them at the front entrance on number 3 and I will bring them out. If you need to pick up your child up before 2:30, they must be signed out in the office. Your child may come for breakfast at 7:30 in the Cafeteria if you desired for $1.00. El horario de la escuela es de las 8:00-2:40. Si el niño llega temprano será supervisado en la cafetería. Si recoges su niño después de la escuela búsquelo al la entrada principal, yo lo llevaría afuera. Si necesita recoger a su niño antes de las 2:30 necesitas firmar por ellos en la oficina.         If there is a change in the way your child will be going home, please send a note to me. Without a note, I will have to send them home the usual way. Si necesitas cambiar la manera en que su niño regresa a casa por favor envíenme una nota. Si no tengo una nota voy a enviarle de la misma manera de siempre.         Kindergarten students need a note in order to walk from the bus unattended by an adult. Su niño necesitará una nota si camina desde el bus  sin ser supervisado por un adulto.         Teachers must be given a note if a child is to miss P.E. because of injury or illness. No tendremos siesta en nuestro salón. Su niño no necesitara una toalla.         Attendance is very important. Prizes will be given to the children every 6 weeks for perfect attendance. School hours must be used for instructional time with the children.  I will keep you informed of your child’s progress through notes, phone calls, report cards, etc. Tendré conferencias de padres cuando hay una necesidad.
