Use the links on the left to find instructions for using Microsoft Publisher.  If you have never used Publisher, you might want to use "The Basics of Publisher - Parts One - Five" links on the left to understand the basics before getting started.

Here Are Some Ideas for Using Publisher with Your Curriculum:
Lower Grades:
- Each student can create a book page on a topic, print the page, & put all the pages together to create a "class" book on any topic your class is studying.
- Students can create menus while studying nutrition & health.
- Students can create thank you cards to thank guest speakers, room mothers, etc... while also teaching writing skills.

Upper Grades:
- Have student create business cards for people covered in your unit of study (i.e. famous scientists, historians, writers, inventors, artists, mathematicians, etc...).
- Have students create calendars to plan out major assignments.
- Have students create brochures on places, animals, concepts, etc... that are covered in your content area.
- Have students create signs/posters to  advertise/explain important concepts covered in your unit of study.
- Have students create booklets to re-tell a story, create a story, create a "How To" booklet, etc...

Book Talk Posters
Information Booklets (i.e. Mrs. Jones Class, Lake Dallas, Texas, the Rainforest, etc…)

- Have students create a website to present information found during a research assignment.
