Reader Rabbit Reading Builder
Picking up the phonics instruction where Reader Rabbit® Learn to Read with Phonics leaves off, the all-new Reader Rabbit Reading Builder for Schools introduces students to blends, digraphs, additional vowel sounds, and spelling patterns in a systematic and progressive way, within an engaging story context.
Reading Builder utilizes a research-based, balanced approach to literacy instruction as students practice and apply their phonemic knowledge to a wide variety of decodable texts and authentic literature, from comic strips to a chapter book. Students' reading comprehension is then "tested" through fun mini-activities at the end of each text passage that encourage them to respond to literature, relate reading to their own experiences, make predictions, and read for a purpose.
