Superintendent Dr. Mike Rockwood Among Members of Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40
The Dallas Business Journal is pleased to announce members for its 2022 40 Under 40 Awards. These honorees are rising stars in business, dentistry, fitness, food & beverage, health care, nonprofits, interior design, education, finance, and marketing. Among these 40 individuals is our very own Superintendent Dr. Mike Rockwood.

Summer Meals at Lake Dallas Elementary
Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive — even when school is out. With the Summer Meal Programs, children and teens ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old can continue to eat healthily throughout the summer at no cost at any participating meal site.

District Teachers of the Year
On Friday, May 27, during the district's End of the Year Celebration, Lake Dallas High School teacher Marcee Anderson and Corinth Elementary School teacher Allison McCowan were named the district Teachers of the Year. Thank you both for representing Lake Dallas so well.

LCEF Scholarship Recipients
On May 18, 2022, the Inaugural Lake Cities Education Foundation Scholarship Reception was held in the Lake Dallas High School's new foyer, located outside of the Performance Hall. Congratulations to 22 Class of 2022 seniors for receiving scholarships.
