Trustees approve 2021-22 district calendar
Lake Dallas ISD trustees have unanimously approved the district’s 2021-22 calendar. The calendar for the upcoming school year largely adheres with typical district scheduling practices, including the length of major holiday breaks and use of nine-week grading periods

Report cards now available in Skyward Family Access
Report Cards for the second nine-week grading period (and first semester) for all Lake Dallas ISD students are now available to view online. All reports can be viewed in Skyward Family Access.

Students on winter break through Jan. 5
Lake Dallas ISD students will have no classes from Monday, Dec. 21, to Tuesday, Jan. 5, when the district has its winter break.

Lake Cities Education Foundation awards nearly $36,000 in grants
The Lake Cities Education Foundation awarded nearly $36,000 in grants to Lake Dallas ISD educators to fund unique and innovative projects designed to further strengthen classroom experiences for students, with each district campus earning at least one grant.

Texas A&M University’s AgriLife Extension agency has awarded Lake Dallas Middle School’s 4-H program with its Superior Service Award for the team category, one of the top awards of its kind in the state.

Middle school, high school offering academic help on Saturday, Dec. 12
Lake Dallas Middle School and Lake Dallas High School will each offer a Saturday Session event on Dec. 12 to support any student needing academic assistance.

Students now eat free for remainder of 2020-21 school year
Lake Dallas ISD students will now eat free for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year, following federal support that extended the free meal program that was originally slated to end with the 2020 calendar year.

Submit changes for learning environment choice by Dec. 8
As part of Lake Dallas ISD's in-person and virtual learning programs, families have the choice to switch between the learning environments between each grading period. For the upcoming third grading period, families should submit any changes in learning environment by Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Virtual students failing classes or chronically absent returning to classes to ensure grade advancement
Lake Dallas ISD schools have begun contacting families of virtual learners who are either failing classes or chronically absent, requiring these students return to schools to ensure they can advance to the next grade level.

Progress reports now available in Skyward Family Access
Progress reports for all Lake Dallas ISD students in grades 1-12 are now available to view online. All reports can be viewed in Skyward Family Access, though there are slight differences between the elementary and secondary viewing process.
