• Meal Payments


    Students and faculty are encouraged to pre-load money into their lunch accounts for convenience. 

    Payments may be accepted online through Skyward Family Access and will immediately be posted to the student's food service account.

    Payments can also be made at the point of sale during meal service. 

  • Charge Policy


    Student Charges: We strongly discourage meal charges, but we understand that an occasional emergency makes it necessary.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to utilize Family Access to monitor student balances.  Please make pre-payments regularly to ensure that your student may enjoy the meal of their choice.  

    A La Carte Food: Students with a negative balance may not charge a la carte (snacks/beverages) to their account.  

    Negative Balance:  Any negative balance on the student(s) cafeteria account is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. If a student’s meal account has a negative balance, parents/guardians will receive daily email notifications.  The grace period for a negative balance is the school year.

  • Account Restrictions/Changes/Refunds


    If you wish to make modifications to your student's lunch account (i.e. include food restrictions, set fund limits, etc.) please complete the Account Restriction Form.  You may also contact the Child Nutrition office at 940-497-2225. Special requests including account restrictions and meal modifications must be submitted annually. 

    Meal accounts remain active while a student is enrolled at Lake Dallas ISD.  Funds will rollover year to year, and automatically transfers if student moves to a new campus. 

    For an account refund or transfer of balance, please complete the Student Refund Request.  Form should be returned to the Child Nutrition office (directions are on form).
