Stephanie Hamilton, Director
Description and Goals: The 6th grade Boys and Girls Choir and Intermediate Girls Choir courses provide the means of laying a solid foundation in sight-reading and performance skills. The course will utilize movable Do (solfege) and Kodaly hand signs. The goal of the course is to teach the students to implement the movable Do system, accompanied by the Kodaly hand signs when sight reading a musical selection. Through this course of study, the students will learn new pieces and become more independent singers.
