Welcome to 7th Grade Math!!

It is going to be an exciting and fun year!  Students should be ready to brush up on their math skills through both individual and group activities.  Participation and a positive attitude are strongly encouraged.

About Mr. Fabro

I grew up in South Texas and graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas.  Upon graduation, I moved to North Texas where I started a career in banking.  After 18 years of working in this industry, I decided to go back to school and follow my desire to become a teacher.   I graduated from The University of North Texas, (GO MEAN GREEN), in the fall of 2014, with a BS in Integrative Studies.  While attending college I worked as a Substitute Teacher and then as an Inclusion Support Staff member, mostly at the middle school. This will be my 6th year teaching math at Lake Dallas Middle School.

In addition to teaching math, I am also the Student Council Sponsor as well as the Head of the Middle School Math Department.  Student Council is the student government organization on campus.  We have lots of fun with various activities throughout the year such as red ribbon week, teacher and student recognitions, as well as hosting of the 7th and 8th grade dance.  All students are invited to apply to be a member.  I hope to see all of my students at one of our meetings.

Many weekends you will either find me out running a 5k race or working in my gardens.  I also love to cook and enjoy spending time relaxing with friends.

Teaching is my passion and I am very excited about the 2019 - 2020 school year!
