Welcome to Shady Shores Elementary!  It is my honor to be starting my fifth year as the Principal of Shady Shores Elementary.  Shady Shores Elementary is a Leader in Me school.  We begin each day with a leadership block where our students learn leadership skills, The 7 Habits of Happy Kids, and how to be leaders of their lives.  We are beginning our fifth year on this Leader in Me journey.

I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I received a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas.   I have been a part of the Lake Dallas ISD Falcon Family since 2001.  I previously taught third and fourth grade at Lake Dallas Elementary and Shady Shores Elementary.  I have also been the district ESL/Bilingual Coordinator and the Staff Development Coordinator.  I live in Hickory Creek with my husband, Jimmy, and my daughter, Victoria.   She attends Lake Dallas Middle School.  We are thrilled she is a Falcon!
