I love being a Falcon! My family moved to the Lake Cities area when I was in the 7th grade. I attended Lake Dallas Middle School and graduated from Lake Dallas High School. 

I received my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and earned my Master's Degree in Administration from Lamar University. I am a certified school administrator and a certified teacher for grades 1-8, with a specialization in reading. In addition, I have my ESL certification.

I began my teaching career in Lake Dallas ISD in 1997 as a third grade teacher. I've taught Accelerated Reading Instruction at the elementary level, as well as served as the Elementary Mathematics Coordinator and an Instructional Coach.  Prior to joining Lake Dallas Elementary as principal, I was an assistant principal at both Corinth Elementary School and Lake Dallas Middle School.
