We are excited to welcome all our Falcons back to school! We appreciate your patience as we renovate and update our District facilities in Lake Dallas ISD. Lake Dallas High School

Progress continues on Lake Dallas High School renovations with various projects wrapping up each week. The campus will be ready to welcome all of our students into a safe and clean environment for the first day of school on August 12. Due to a number of issues, which include, labor shortages, out of stock materials, material delays, permitting backlogs and inclement weather (Winter Storm Uri, etc.), the entire project will not be complete prior to August 12, but substantial completion is expected by mid-September and most everything will be complete by October 1. The only component that remains a foreseeable issue is the canopy/covering at both secondary campuses. These are on significant back order, but installation is still likely before October 1.

Note: The high school library will be renovated during the first semester as a result of a burst water pipe. New carpeting and furniture will be installed following scheduled renovations.

Students and staff will continue to use the temporary entrance used during the 2020-2021 school year until the first day of school, when the front high school entrance will be available and utilized for staff and students.

The indoor athletic facility is also scheduled to be substantially complete and ready for use during the first or second week of September.

Lake Dallas Middle School

Progress continues on Lake Dallas Middle School renovations with various projects wrapping up each week. All projects—with the exception of the canopy/covering—are expected to be complete prior to the beginning of school on August 12.

Corinth Elementary

Progress continues on Corinth Elementary renovations with various projects wrapping up each week.  

The campus will be ready to welcome all of our students into a safe and clean environment for the first day of school on August 12. Due to a number of issues, which include, labor shortages, out of stock materials, material delays, permitting backlogs and inclement weather (Winter Storm Uri, etc.), the entire project will not be complete prior to August 12, but substantial completion is expected by mid-September and most everything will be complete by October 1. The front entry, administrative suite and library will be the areas that will remain unfinished until early-to-mid-September.
