Lake Dallas High School Welcomes New Band Director: Mikaela Pyle!
Lake Dallas High School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mikaela Pyle as our new Band Director! With an impressive background in music education and a passion for student growth, Ms. Pyle is ready to lead the Falcon Band into an exciting new chapter—marching to the beat of excellence, creativity, and community spirit.
Ms. Pyle brings a wealth of experience to the podium, having most recently served as Assistant Band Director at Guyer High School in Denton ISD, where she coordinated the marching band program and taught everything from non-varsity ensembles to AP Music Theory. Before that, she helped establish the band program at Memorial High School in Frisco ISD when it opened its doors in 2018.
Please join us in giving a warm Falcon welcome to Ms. Pyle. Her dedication to musical excellence and her student-centered approach are in perfect harmony with our mission to put #FalconsFirst. We can’t wait to see (and hear) what’s in store for our band program under her direction.
