Lake Dallas ISD is proud to announce the hiring of Coach Klein as the new leader of the Lake Dallas Volleyball program. Coach Klein joins Lake Dallas with over a decade of coaching and playing experience, most recently serving as a cornerstone of the coaching staff at Marcus High School for the past ten years serving as the Varsity Assistant for the Marauder volleyball program.

Coach Klein’s career is defined by championship success. Before her tenure at Marcus, she served as an assistant coach at Hill College in 2014, where she helped lead the program to a Region 5 Championship. Coach Klein has also been an integral part of two soccer state championships while serving as an assistant coach for the Marcus girls soccer program.

An Amarillo High School standout, Coach Klein was a vital member of the two consecutive 5A State Title teams (2008, 2009). Her playing career continued at Tarleton State University, where she became one of the most decorated defensive players in program history. A three-time Defensive Player of the Year and Lone Star Conference Libero of the Year, she still holds the Texans’ records for total digs in a season (604) and digs per set (5.39).

“We are thrilled to bring Coach Klein’s wealth of knowledge and winning culture to Lake Dallas,” said Jeremy Males, Lake Dallas Athletic Director. “Her experience at both the collegiate and high school levels makes her an incredible asset to our student-athletes.”
