Lake Dallas ISD Welcomes Chadd Springer as Chief Administrator of Safety and Security

At the April meeting of the Lake Dallas ISD Board of Trustees, a unanimous decision was made to appoint Chadd Springer as the district's inaugural Chief Administrator of Safety and Security. This appointment reflects the district's unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.

 

With over 24 years of law enforcement experience, Mr. Springer brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. Mr. Springer's extensive career has seen him excel in various positions, including officer, supervisor, Director of Corporate Security, School Resource Officer, and most recently, Director of School Safety and Chief of Police at Tom Bean Independent School District.

 

Not only has Mr. Springer directly served in the field, but he has also been an invaluable member of the National Association of School Resource Officers for more than a decade. Through his dedication and passion, he has conducted specialized training courses on School Resource Officer practices, imparting his knowledge to fellow law enforcement professionals.
