Lake Dallas ISD Wins 2024 TAEA District of Distinction Award

The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) announced the 94 winners of the 2024 District of Distinction Award. Among the list of honorees is Lake Dallas ISD! TAEA is the leading advocate for the visual arts in the state. The districts received the honor for providing a well-rounded education that advocates and integrates visual arts curriculum to inspire creativity and build social emotional learning that connect learners to their community and beyond.
Only the top 5.5% of districts in the state, including LDISD, earned the honor this year.
This is the sixth consecutive year that LDISD has received this recognition, placing it in the top 1.3% of ALL visual arts programming in the State of Texas!
