⭐️LDHS Band TMEA Region, Area, and All-state Success⭐️
At the February regular monthly meeting of the LDISD Board of Trustees, numeours musicians from the LDHS Falcon Band were recognized for their exceptional showing in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region, Area, and All-State audition process — a highly competitive pathway that draws approximately 70,000 students across Texas each year. Competing in the 5A Region 2 track, LDHS musicians advanced at multiple levels, culminating in a prestigious All-State selection.

Enzo Fernandez – French Horn
Enzo was selected as the 5th best French Horn player in Texas and earned a seat in the 5A All-State Sinfonietta Orchestra in San Antonio — the highest honor available to a Texas high school musician.
Overall, the results reflect both the depth of talent in the LDHS Band program and the dedication required to advance through one of the most competitive music audition processes in the state.
