LDHS Student Has Artwork Feature in State Exhibit

At last week's regular monthly meeting of the LDISD Board of Trustees, we recognized LDHS Artist Sophia Dunn!
LDHS Freshman, Sophia Dunn, with her artwork entitled, As I See Myself, was accepted into the Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month Spring Exhibition at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin.
This exhibition showcases Pre-K through 12th grade student works of art from across the state of Texas at the Bullock Texas State History Museum during the month of March. Just over 100 pieces were accepted from across the state.
The local print magazine, South Denton Living, featured this accomplishment in their April 2025 volume.
