At the March regular monthly meeting of the LDISD Board of Trustees, we recognized the LDHS students who represented us at the Teach Tomorrow Summit!
These students are part of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE). The Teach Tomorrow Summit is the TAFE State conference and competition, and LDHS brought home numerous accolades.
LDHS TAFE was recognized at an outstanding chapter for the 7th consecutive year, and individual student contests placed as well.
Zoey C. and Estefany L. earned a Silver Award for their Chapter Yearbook Project, and Kaylee F. and Lena N. brought home Gold for their Portfolios.
Two projects qualified for the National Competition: the Interactive Bulletin Board by Brinley B. and Sara O. and Teacher Created Materials by Lena. N!
