LDHS VASE Brings Home State Medalist for 24th Consecutive Year

At the April regular monthly meeting of the LDISD Board of Trustees, we recognized our LDHS students who competed at teh Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE)!
This event is the visual arts equivalent to a UIL competition. All 45 LDHS Student entries were Regional Medalists at the Region 11 Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE), and 3 students advanced to state.
Of those 3, 1 entry received an Excellent rating and 2 received Superior ratings and brought home STATE MEDALS!
Over 37,000 student artworks were entered into regional competitions state-wide, and only 2,359 advanced to StateThis is the 24th year LDHS has competed in this art competition, and also the 24th year they have brought home a State medalist. INCREDIBLE!!!
