LDISD Names Coach Jeremy Males as New Athletic Director and Head Football Coach

Lake Dallas Independent School District is proud to announce the hiring of Jeremy Males as the district’s new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. With more than 25 years of experience in coaching and teaching — including over 15 years serving Lake Dallas High School — Males returns to lead Falcon athletics with deep roots in the community and a clear vision for student success.
Throughout his career, Males has built programs centered on self-discipline, hard work, and accountability, while maintaining a strong emphasis on academic achievement and servant leadership. Most recently, he served as the Boys Athletic Director at Mount Vernon ISD and as Head Coach of the Guelfi Firenze professional football team in Italy, bringing a unique global perspective back to Lake Dallas ISD.
Males holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mid-America Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.
“Lake Dallas is home,” said Males. “This district helped shape me as an educator, coach, and parent, and I’m honored to step into this role. I believe athletics should develop the whole student — teaching discipline, accountability, and leadership while supporting academic excellence. I’m excited to work with our coaches, staff, and student-athletes to build something special together.”
Superintendent Dr. Kristin N. Brown shared her enthusiasm for the appointment. “Coach Males embodies what it means to put students first,” said Dr. Brown. “His proven leadership, deep understanding of our community, and commitment to academic and athletic excellence make him the right person to lead our athletic programs. We are thrilled to welcome him back to Lake Dallas ISD and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our Falcons.”
Males will begin his role as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach in January 2026, partnering with longtime Athletic Director Scott Head as he prepares for retirement. Their collaboration will help guide Lake Dallas ISD athletics into an exciting new chapter.
