Lake Dallas ISD is proud to announce the hiring of Gretchen McGregor as the new Assistant Principal of Corinth Elementary School.

Mrs. McGregor brings more than two decades of experience in education, instructional leadership, and student support to the Falcon family. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles including assistant principal, MTSS coordinator, instructional coordinator, summer school administrator, and elementary classroom teacher. Her passion for student achievement, collaborative school culture, and instructional excellence make her an outstanding addition to the Corinth Elementary leadership team.

Most recently, Mrs. McGregor served as Assistant Principal at Antelope Trails Elementary School in Colorado, where she helped lead a high-achieving campus recognized with multiple state awards for academic growth and achievement. In her leadership role, she guided Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), supported curriculum development, led assessment and intervention systems, and coached teachers through data-driven instructional practices. She also played an integral role in implementing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and strengthening support systems for all learners.

Mrs. McGregor holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, completed her Educational Leadership Program through Adams State College, and holds both Texas and Colorado Professional Principal Licenses.

Known for building strong relationships, supporting teachers, and creating systems that help students thrive, Mrs. McGregor is committed to fostering a positive and student-centered learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow and succeed.
