Grandfalcons
The GrandFalcons is a free membership program created by Lake Dallas ISD specifically for community residents aged 60 and older. GrandFalcons who are related to a currently enrolled student are also invited to participate, regardless of address.
The program is designed to connect local seniors with the school district through exclusive events, volunteer opportunities, and special perks.
Who Can Be a GrandFalcon?
The GrandFalcon program is designed for members of the Lake Dallas ISD Community who are 60 years old or older. GrandFalcons can be residents of Lake Dallas ISD or a relative (i.e., grandparent) of a current LDISD student!
How Will GrandFalcons Be Involved with the School?
GrandFalcons will receive multiple opportunities to become involved with LDISD Schools!
Possible volunteer opportunities include:
- Campus study buddies
- Donuts with Dudes/Muffins with Ma'ams
- Holiday Meal Service
- Morning Door Greeters
- Greeters for Open Houses and Programs
- Ticket Takers for Fine Arts Events
- General Campus Help
- Reading to Classes
- Book Fair Assistance
- Judges for Campus Contests
- Help with PreK Lunch
- Distribute Programs at Events
- Liaisons for Career Day/Adulting Day
