What is the ADSY Discovery Learning program?
ADSY (Additional Days School Year) is a program that provides academic enrichment and hands-on discovery experiences that help students grow, explore, and thrive all year long. This program focuses on strengthening Reading, Math, and STEAM skills through engaging and hands-on learning experiences. (PK-8)
The Additional Days School Year (ADSY) initiative empowers elementary and middle schools to extend their calendars so kids can keep discovering, growing, and staying sharp year-round. By filling extra days with engaging enrichment and targeted learning, the program turns long breaks into vibrant opportunities for students to build confidence and excel.

Who can participate?
ADSY Discovery Learning is exclusive to Lake Dallas ISD K–8th Grade students, with limited PK3 & PK4 opportunities!
- Middle school (grades 6–8) meet during all Saturday sessions, while elementary sessions alternate grade levels each time (full schedule below).
- When available, PreK 3 and PreK 4 students may attend with a parent/guardian.

Is there a cost to participate?
- No, there is no cost to families to participate in these additional learning and exploration sessions.
Program Participation Information:
ADSY Discovery Learning will take place in two main cohorts:
- Saturday Half-Day Sessions
- Snacks provided for participating students during half-day Saturday sessions.
- Saturday, September 19, 2026 (grades 3-5; 6-8)
- Saturday, October 24, 2026 (grades K-2; 6-8)
- Saturday, November 14, 2026 (grades 3-5; 6-8)
- Saturday, December 5, 2026 (grades K-2; 6-8; PreK4 w/parent)
- Saturday, January 23, 2027 (grades 3-5; 6-8)
- Saturday, February 20, 2027 (grades K-2; 6-8)
- Saturday, March 6, 2027 (grades 3-5; 6-8; PreK3/4 w/parent)
- Saturday, April 17, 2027 (grades K-2; 6-8)
- Snacks provided for participating students during half-day Saturday sessions.
- Summer Sessions
- Summer sessions operate as an extended half-day session
- Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for participating students.
- June 1-3; 7-10; 14-17; 21-24

- Grades PreK 3 & PreK4: Corinth Elementary
- June Sessions
- Grades 6-8: LDMS
- Grades K-5: LDE
Transportation will be provided for students who reside outside of a 2 mile radius from LDHS (ADSY Saturday campus), excluding areas noted in the LDISD Hazardous Area Designation document. Buses will be all grade levels (K-8).
