Career & Technical Education (CTE) is connecting education and careers to better prepare today's students for the challenges and demands of tomorrow's world. Through quality instruction of relevant and rigorous curriculum in various career areas of students' interests, plus extended leadership and community service opportunities, students are gaining knowledge and skills for lifelong success.
LDHS CTE Enrollment Data
Over 90% of the LDHS student body is currently enrolled in 1 or more CTE course(s) for the 2021-2022 school year.
75.5% of the LDHS student body is classified as CTE Concentrators, students that are/or have taken two or more CTE courses for three or more credits in a specific career pathway.Over 1000 LDHS students have the potential to earn an Advanced Technical Credit (statewide articulation) in the 2020-2021 school year. ATC gives high school students the opportunity to receive credit at participating community colleges across Texas for taking high school technical courses.
