Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kelly Anderson
Hello Falcons! My name is Kelly Anderson and I am the Assistant Principal at Corinth Elementary. I graduated from J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso, Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in English from Texas Tech in 1997, after spending a semester abroad at the University of Moscow in Russia. While at Texas Tech, I developed a passion for poetry and became a published poet in the university's literary magazine, "The Harbinger." I received my Master's degree in Administration from Lamar University where I received special recognition on my research on Google Classroom and the impact online learning has on secondary education.
I have been a Falcon for many years. I taught 8th grade Language Arts at Lake Dallas Middle School from 2007 to 2016. During this time, I served as the department chair of the middle school's Language Arts department, chair of the Campus Education Improvement Committee, helped implement Google Apps for Education in the classroom, offered district training sessions, served as an ambassador for the district's Leadership Team, as well as many other leadership roles. The 2019-20 school year begins my fourth year in administration. I enjoy all aspects of student success and look forward to a great year at CE!
