What is Color Guard?
During football games, do you know the performers during halftime shows who have a flag? That is a color guard performer! Color guard is a collection of dance-based performers that use props such as flags and mock rifles to interpret music. They combine dance, flags, and other visual elements to create a performance production.
Training and Experience:
Our trained instructors will teach you how to dance, spin a flag, and develop your performing skills. You do not have to have prior knowledge/experience in color guard or performance to join our group. All we are looking for are hard workers with good attitudes to become a part of our club. Club Color Guard is available to girls & boys in 6th, 7th & 8th grades, not currently enrolled in a band class. Everyone is invited to join!
Performances and Shows:
During this season as you learn to develop your skills, you will also be learning a routine that you will be used for an end-of-the-semester public performance (to be determined).
