LD College Entrance Exam Scores Outrank National Average

The latest Texas Academic Performance Reports show that Lake Dallas ISD students are above the national averages in both primary college entrance exams- the SAT and ACT.

The SAT measures college readiness in math, reading, and writing. During 2024, students across the nation earned an average score of 1024.

The ACT tests English, mathematics, reading, and scientific reasoning. In 2024, students across the nation earned an average score of 19.4.

In 2024, Lake Dallas students scored an average of 1047 and 19.9 on the SAT and ACT, respectively.
