Hello Falcon Families,

Thank you for visiting the CE website. I want to tell you a bit about me.

I knew by the fourth grade I wanted to be a teacher. I loved school! By that time I had experienced school with 5 amazing teachers.

I graduated from Denton High School. I attended UNT and TWU. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and special education. I began teaching immediately upon graduation.

I have completed an M.Ed. in special education. Once that was completed I went on to complete a certification in school counseling. After teaching for several years I became a counselor. While I was a counselor I completed a principal certification. 

I have been in LDISD for 21 years. I started at Lake Dallas Elementary and was part of the staff that opened Shady Shores Elementary. I became a principal while at Shady Shores Elementary. Four years ago, I became the principal of Corinth Elementary.

My family and I love to be outdoors in nature with our animals. We also like water sports and reading.  We are always looking for new ways to learn.
