  • Is ZOOM safe for my student?

    Posted by:
    • Zoom updated security to help school districts ensure that Zoom sessions are safe.  Beginning  April 5th, Zoom tightened security and changed settings specifically for school districts.  Several safety changes were made, but two of note were the  enabling  of passwords to get into meetings and activating waiting rooms to enable the teacher to control who enters the zoom meeting.  We feel like with these security additions, Zoom provides a safe video conferencing option for our students.

  • Is my student falling behind?

    Posted by:
    • Many parents have expressed concern that their student may fall behind during remote learning. Please keep in mind that students across the nation and around the world are dealing with school closures during this global pandemic. Our teachers are professionals in their field and stand ready to help your child during - and after - school closures. They continue to be your child’s teacher now and will work with them through distance learning. And, when students eventually return to school, our teachers will be there to meet students where they are academically and guide their educational advancement, so please do not worry.

We will notify in this FAQ and on the weekly newsletter the plan when it is in place.
