Homecoming 2021: Falcons Are Out of This World

The Lake Dallas High School Falcon football team will host its homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 1, and events and activities will take place throughout the week leading up to the game. This year’s homecoming theme, set by the Lake Dallas High School Student Council, is “Falcons are OUT OF THIS WORLD,” which will take part across all Lake Dallas ISD schools.

Homecoming court honorees will be recognized before the game, at roughly 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Falcon Stadium. Information about the various activities and events scheduled for homecoming week can be seen on our homecoming website. Information about major events is included below, but for a quick overview, look at our homecoming flyer.
Dress-Up Days
Each day of homecoming week will have its own dress-up theme, with all campuses participating.

  • Monday, Sep. 27: SPACE JAM - Dress in your favorite team jersey/shirt
  • Tuesday, Sep. 28: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - Dress in your favorite superhero shirt
  • Wednesday, Sep. 29: WE COME IN PEACE - Dress in your best 70's attire
  • Thursday, Sep. 30:  FALCONS SHINE BRIGHT - Dress in your brightest neon colors
  • Friday, Oct. 1: PAINT THE GALAXY GREEN - Dress in your Falcon Green both at school and at the game.


This year’s homecoming parade will take place at 5:15 p.m. Monday, September 27 along the regular parade route (LDMS (Hundley Drive), Falcon Drive, and Main Street in Lake Dallas).

LDISD student groups, athletic teams, and clubs as well as community groups are encouraged to participate by entering a float and riding in the parade.  Click here to complete the Parade Entry Form.  The optional “parade entry fee” is 2 can goods per student riding on the floats. All donations will be given to the Lake Cities Food Pantry. The deadline for entering is Wednesday, September 22.
