Lake Dallas Falcon baseball players, Ryan Hull and Hayden Payne, seniors at Lake Dallas High School, signed letters of intent to play college ball at a signing ceremony on Friday, February 8, 2019.
Ryan, son of James and Stephanie Hull, signed with Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa. The 13-year senior and 3-year varsity letterman has received 2nd Team All District outfielder honors and Academic All State Honorable mention honors as a Falcon.
“I choses UIU because it was a good fit for me athletically and academically,” Ryan said. “I like the coaches and facilities and was given a good offer.”
Hayden, son of David & Joy Payne and Kristi Payne, chose to continue his education and play college ball at Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport. He plans to major in Pre-Med.
“Centenary was my choice because of the great campus and the future they gave me in baseball,” Hayden said. “It also has a great record in academics which will help me when I move forward in my college goals.”
“Our coaching staff couldn't be more proud of Hayden and Ryan,” Falcon Baseball Coach Ryan Howard said. “They have represented their families, LDHS, and our baseball program with class and excellence.”
