Details for graduation at Falcon Stadium on May 26

Lake Dallas High School seniors will graduate at Falcon Stadium on Wednesday, May 26, and plans are set to make the event a memorable experience for all families and attendees.

Each graduate will receive 12 guest tickets and three car passes (one car pass shall be used by the graduate). Graduates will have two parking locations, while families and other attendees will park in the lots around the stadium, as seen in the map at the bottom of this email.

Students can pick up their allotted tickets and parking passes at the high school assistant principals' office, Room 203, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, through Thursday, May 6.

The Corinth Police Department and Lake Cities Fire Department have provided outstanding support for the event, and officers will be on hand to direct traffic. All traffic will flow toward the stadium parking lot entrances before the event and away from the stadium parking lots after the event. Please view the details below for more event information.

When and where is the event? 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Falcon Stadium behind Lake Dallas High School. The event is slightly later than normal to provide cooler temperature.

Who can attend? Graduates will each receive 12 guest tickets to provide to whomever they wish to attend the event. Only graduates and people with tickets, as well as event staff, will be allowed into the stadium to ensure the event focuses on our seniors and their families and friends.

Where can I sit? There is no assigned seating; attendees can choose their seats anywhere in the stadium stands, on either the home or visitor side.

What should I wear? Guests should wear any clothing appropriate for a public event. All graduates should wear professional clothing under their graduation gowns and flat shoes, as they will be seated on the field. Face coverings are optional.

Are any items prohibited? Please do not bring any items that would cause a distraction or prevent a graduate from being properly honored. Examples include airhorns (which could prevent a family from hearing their graduate’s name) or large signs (which could obscure the view of people seated behind you). All other stadium guidelines for UIL competitions apply.

How can I get to the stadium? As seen on the map below, beginning at 7 p.m., traffic on Parkridge Drive and Meadowview Drive (up to their intersection) will flow in one direction, toward the stadium parking lot entries. It will flow away from the stadium after graduation concludes. During both these these times, traffic will flow in one direction.

Where can I park? Graduates will park near the competition gym or front entrance of the high school, while attendees will park in the lots surrounding Falcon Stadium. A map of these parking lots can be seen below. Lots will be filled up in order to improve traffic flow, meaning those entering from Parkridge Drive will fill up lot A first, followed by lot B, then lot C, etc.

My child is not graduating but will be part of the ceremony. Where does he or she park? All band, choir and junior ushers will park at baseball parking lot, behind the new multipurpose indoor facility construction site.

Where can staff park? To prioritize graduate and visitor parking, staff will park closest to their graduation work station.

Will the event be live streamed? Yes, links will be sent out closer to the ceremony.
