Four student-athletes signing letters of intent on May 12

Four Lake Dallas High School student-athletes will sign their letters of intent on Wednesday, May 12, formalizing their plans to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

From the girl’s golf team, Allison Strong will sign with St. Thomas University (Miami, Florida), where she will represent the Bobcats in the Florida Sun Conference. From the volleyball team, Macie Banks will sign with North Greenville University (Tigerville, South Carolina), where she will represent the Crusaders in the Conference Carolinas.

The girls’ soccer team will have two student-athletes signing letters of intent, Ivelyn Jimenez and Madison Harper. Ivelyn will sign with Brookhaven College, where she will represent the Bears in the Dallas Athletic Conference. Madison will sign with Midway University (Midway, Kentucky), where she will represent the Eagles in the Mid-South Conference.

All four student-athletes will sign their letters at about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, in the Lake Dallas High School competition gym. Because of COVID-19 social distancing efforts, only family and coaches will be present at the ceremony. To ensure everyone wishing to watch can do so, the event will be streamed live on the Lake Dallas ISD NFHS Network channel.
