Lake Dallas ISD announces new district administrative leader
Kelly O’Sullivan named Associate Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction
Kelly O’Sullivan will join Lake Dallas ISD to become its new Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. She comes to the Falcons from Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, bringing a wealth of academic and curriculum experience to the role.
At Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Mrs. O’Sullivan served as Chief of School Leadership, developing and coaching principals in areas of leadership including curriculum and instruction, data, professional development, vision and culture. She has served in that role since 2022, though she brings more than 20 years of education experience in various positions.
Mrs. O’Sullivan began her professional education career as a Behavior Resource Specialist in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD in 2002, later as a classroom teacher and an Instructional Facilitator. She served as an Assistant Principal and Associate Principal for four years before becoming the principal of Ted Polk Middle School from 2016-2022.
Mrs. O’Sullivan is currently working on her doctoral degree in educational leadership and earned her master’s degree in education administration from Lamar University. She obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Texas State University and UT Arlington, respectively.
LDISD looks forward to welcoming Mrs. O’Sullivan to the Falcon Family when she starts her position on July 31.
