NJHS Inducts 45 New Members
Lake Dallas Middle School proudly announces the induction of 45 new members to the National Junior Honor Society. The students inducted are not only excelling in the classroom, each one has demonstrated the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.
2018-19 officers Nico Hutchinson – President, Juhnwi Goo – Vice President and Ben High – Treasurer, and members David Jensen and Peyton Butler described the pillars and lit candles for each in the ceremony at LDMS on Thursday, April 25. NJHS Advisor Martha Baird and Principal Randall Caldwell each addressed the new members with their charge.
8th grade inductees are John Anderson, Kylie Gauthier, Kylie MacLean-Hall, Corissa Maggard, Summer Newton (not pictured), Anish Patel, Marcus Tolson and Christian Willis.
7th grade inductees include Tamara Bravo, Cassidy Forehand, Riley Jahnke, Caden King, Harrison Litchfield, Alexis Mabbun, Ryan Richey and Camila Tran.
6th grade inductees are Jolena Anderson, Maryam Anwar, Amelia Banyaga, Kaden Burkhalter, Adina Clemens, Devraj Dhadda, Jaxon Durham, Reese Esely, Sherry Fox, Brileigh Frase, Claire Hale, Dillon Keyes, Jeehwan Kim, Adeana Lopez, Jett Love, Randi Luke, Kasey Mack, Sophia Masella, Andrew Meche, Ashlyn Meins, Charlotte Murray, Audrey Norwood, Isabella Ortiz, Jadyn Pruitt, Landry Scheibelhut, Rebecca Skousen, Cassidy Smith, Austin Willis and Skylar Zingelmann.
NJHS is a national organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. Membership not only recognizes students for their academic accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
