LDISD Announces Administrative Staff Changes

LDISD Staff Changes Lake Dallas ISD announces the following staff changes for the 2020-21 school year

In preparation for the 2020-21 school year, several administrative changes are being made as familiar faces move to new places.

Dr. Jennifer Perry has been named Executive Director of Instructional Services.  Dr. Perry, a 20-year member of the LDISD faculty, is currently principal of Lake Dallas Elementary where she has served for 11 years – 8 as Principal and 3 as Assistant Principal. She joined Lake Dallas ISD in 2000. Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of North Texas, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University, and a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She is a member of TASA, TEPSA, and ASCD and serves on the board for the non-profit group Love For Kids.

Larry Dominguez has been named Principal at Lake Dallas Elementary School.  Mr. Dominguez has been serving as Assistant Principal at the campus for the past two years.  He started his career in education in 2007 in the classroom as a secondary English and computer literacy teacher. His education includes a master’s degree in education from Texas Woman’s University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. He is a member of TEPSA.

Melaynee Broadstreet has been named Assistant to the Superintendent/Public Information Officer. Mrs. Broadstreet has served as the LDISD Director of Public Information and Community Relations since 2012. In addition to her 8 years at Lake Dallas ISD in communications, her 31 years in education include teaching Business Education, English and Journalism at Ponder ISD, and Business Computer Information courses at North Central Texas College. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from West Texas A&M University, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Education from the University of North Texas. She is a member of Texas School Public Relations Association.
